Then this fabulous color combination website is for you!  Although it is mainly used by graphic designers in selecting palettes for web, video and software applications,  it’s perfect for browsing palettes for you or your client’s home.   Utilize the Search engine (top, left) and type in any aesthetic you desire: “modern” or “urban” or “California” and up pops several color combinations.

Although I have many favorites on this site, I particularly love the palettes giving you a sense of place:  “Japanese Garden,”  “L8er Sk8er,”  “Earthy India” and “Italian Hills”, as well as those that evoke certain times of the year: “Korean Spring,” “At the Pool,” “Chicago Autumn” and “Velvet Winter Morning.”
