Working directly with FLOR, otherwise known as InterfaceFLOR, since 2004 has been so inspiring and such a pleasure.
Here’s a look into the past FLOR exposure and the fantastic opportunities FLOR’s developed the last few years. A few personal highlights include: production of the OPRAH segment with Nate Berkus, working alongside domino magazine and assisting many, many home “makeovers.” Everything from ABC’s Extreme Home, to working with Elaine Griffin on the “Good Works” section in O at Home, to Movie and a Makeover segments with Brian Patrick Flynn- have been such a joy! The highlights are actually too many to count… I just feel lucky to have worked with such passionate, innovative people at FLOR!

Local Color Expert To Host Event on Feb. 1 in Bucktown
Chicago, IL - January, 2007 Chicago native Michelle Herzog, owner of the Bucktown paint and design boutique Colori, will host a party celebrating the color RED!
“Didn’t every little girl grow up playing with backhoes, excavators and gradalls?” asks Michelle Herzog, owner of the Bucktown paint and design boutique, Colori. As a child Herzog, a Chicago native, joined her father on 5 a.m. excursions to the family’s road construction sites, and soon found herself clocking in. After starting her own construction business in 1999, Michelle realized that as much as she loved building from the ground up, her passion for bringing color into these spaces was undeniable, and she soon found herself living a modern day Cinderella story filled with luxury paints, creativity and a chic Bucktown address.
Her dream of bringing color paint into the fashion lover’s repertoire became a reality in May of 2006 when she launched Colori. Since its opening, the feisty 90-pound “Queen of Color” has single-handedly redefined the way people experience color when shopping for paint. In addition to owning and operating her store, Herzog stays busy serving as a self-proclaimed Color Therapist providing color consulting for interior designers, architects and homeowners alike.

Nourhy Chiriboga, owner of Nourhy On Webster (NOW) Studio, will be on hand at the Colori Me Red event to perform complimentary Color Readings. According to Nourhy, “It is important to know which colors affect and inspire you. While connecting with a person’s energy I can help them select colors that are best suited for their personality…and ultimately give advice on how to use color to add more balance to their life.” The service will help customers choose from the 496 luxury paints offered by C2.
